Stitching for Christ
- Monday 7-9 p.m., in various homes, ongoing
Do you enjoy crocheting, cross-stitch, and knitting? Have you always wanted to learn how to do one of these crafts? Do you enjoy getting together to fellowship with other women? Then join our stitching fellowship!
The women work on their own projects as well as ministry projects. The women are encouraged to be in prayer for the recipient of the item they are making from the time they begin the project.
If you can't join us and would like to participate, we can supply you with a pattern in the mail or via the internet.
Ministry projects have included prayer shawls, mittens, afghans, baby hats, booties, sweaters for babies as well as small children, and most recently baby blankets.
The finished items have been given to local ministries such as Care-Net and nursing homes. There have been many items delivered to missionaries in the states as well as overseas.
