First Place: The Bible's Way to Weight Loss meets at Faith Church Tuesdays at 6:45 P.M. in Room 221. If you've struggled with weight loss, this 13 week program (similar to Weight Watchers) is designed to help you stop the roller coaster ride up and down the scales by putting Christ first. Started over 20 years ago, the First Place program has been used in over 12,000 churches, and has over a half million successful members! First Place is about gaining a life-changing relationship with God, and it will help you become the person God intended you to be. Loving Hands, Caring Hearts...Stitching for Christ! Do you enjoy crocheting, cross-stitch, and knitting? Have you always wanted to learn how to do one of these crafts? Do you enjoy getting together to fellowship with other women? You are invited to be a part of the Monday night Stitiching Fellowship, from 6:30-9:30 at different homes. We work on our own projects as well as ministry projects. Ministry projects have included prayer shawls, baby hats and booties, children's sweaters, and baby blankets. We are now making infant sweaters to be given to young mothers at Care Net Pregnancy Center.  If you can't join us and would like to participate, we can supply you with a pattern in the mail or via the internet. Meals Ministry: Would you be willing to help someone during a difficult time of his or her life? Volunteers are needed to help provide meals for those in need during illness, birth of a baby, death in the family or a transition time. If you would like to help with this ministry, contact  or

Missions: Women of Faith, in cooperation with our missions office is seeking to integrate more of a missions emphasis into our ministry. Our missions outreach for this fall will again be participation in Operation Christmas Child. Dates for this will be announced later, so check the Women's web page or the church bulletin. This is an evolving element of Women of Faith. Mothers of Preschoolers (MOPS) is designed to motivate and encourage young mothers to discover the relevance of Christ in their everyday lives. Mops meets the first and third Thursday of each month at 9:00 A.M. in the Fireplace Room. For more information, click here.
