Prayer Partners,

We are excited to report that the senior pastor position has now been posted through several venues and the last details of the church profile have been finished and shipped off for printing this week.  We thank the Lord for all that He enabled the committee to accomplish. 

Please continue to pray for us in the following ways:
1.  Please pray for the committee that God would give us unity as a group enabling us to work well together in such a significant task.  Pray for God's protection over us physically, spiritually, and corporately.
2.  Pray for our meeting next Tuesday, May 27.  In addition to other tasks, we anticipate viewing more applicants' packets at this time.  Ask the Lord to give us sensitivity to His Holy Spirit's prompting and the wisdom to make decisions as we sort through candidates' information.
3.  Pray for our church body to continue to heal and grow as God prepares us for this new shepherd.
4.  Lift up our current pastoral staff as they bear the overwhelming task of caring for the needs of our body as we await God's timing on a senior pastor.
5.  Pray for the man God has chosen that he will grow in the love and knowledge of Christ trusting Him as God directs him to a new church body.

Thank you again for praying with us.  May you experience a wonderful time in God's presence as you bring these praises and requests before Him on behalf of our body.
