Global Outreach Ministries
Our Mission
Statistics reflect it, Jesus' command requires it, God's character demands it:
someone needs to take the message of Jesus to the nearly two-thirds of our world
which does not have access to a clear presentation of the Gospel. This stark
reality is what drives our Global Outreach Ministries. We also believe that
every Christian can be meaningfully involved in meeting this great need.
Our Mission Statement
It is our primary mission to mobilize and effectively utilize the resources of
Faith Church, both persons and substance, for the task of establishing healthy
churches among the less-reached people of the world.
Missions Conferences
Our Faith Church Missions Global Outreach Conference is held each spring. Nationally-known
speakers and missionaries offer challenging messages, and share their insights
into an ever-changing world. A similar Conference is held the second weekend of
each November.
General Information
Throughout the year the work of Global Outreach is shared during our morning and
evening services as well as during the Sunday school hours. To ensure meaningful
care of our supported missionaries, Home Teams led by an Advocate are developed
within the Sunday school classes and Growth Groups of the church.
Short Term Missions
Many people today want to commit to a "project." Most of these
projects, which vary in style, are between one and two years in length. Faith
Church, through her international contacts, makes such types of outreach
possible to qualified couples or single folks.
Summer Missions
Teams are developed during the Winter and Spring to go to specific regions of
the world to share Christ, teach in schools, and to work on selected projects to
assist in living and educational facilities. Frequent destinations include
Jamaica, Hungary, Romania, China, and Serbia.

Teaching English
To capitalize on one of the greatest strategic resources we have, classes to
learn how to teach conversational English to non-first language-English speakers
are offered periodically. We desire to create a pool of people trained in these
techniques in order to offer English classes locally, and to send "English
Teams" internationally.
