Purpose Statement
The purpose of the Faith Church Library is to develop and
circulate a collection of Christian materials that will be a resource to promote
spiritual development of individuals, families, and other church ministries.
Library Staff
The Library staff is comprised of interested volunteers
who may choose from the following areas of service: circulation (checking in and
out and shelving), cataloging computer data, and processing materials (covering
and labeling). Cataloging and processing may be done at home for your

Borrowing Policies

All materials leaving the library must be checked out with a library card.
·
Library cards are free to first time applicants.
·
$3.00 is charged for replacement cards.
·
Children over age 12 may obtain their own card with parental permission. Parents
are responsible for their child(ren)'s fines.
·
Borrowing limits per family member are as follows:
4 books: 2 week loan period
2 audios: 2 week loan period
2 videos and DVDs: 1 week
loan period
·
Materials can be returned in the drop box at the library entrance or at the circulation desk during operating hours.
·
Fines for each item overdue are 25˘ per week.
·
The replacement cost for lost or damaged materials will be the assessed fee.
Donations Policy
·
New and used materials in good condition, and not outdated, are gratefully accepted.
·
Materials found unsuitable (as determined by the library staff) will be discarded.
·
Any duplicate books received will be forwarded to either our Spanish church plant
in Allentown or the Lower Macungie Public Library (at the library staff’s discretion).
