Dear Parents,

We are excited to welcome back the Salem Puppet Pals! They will perform a special Christmas show for our children on December 11, at 9:30 am and again at 11 am, downstairs in room B01. All children’s classes from age 4 through 5th grade will be accompanied by their teachers to see the Puppet Pals.

PreK-K children may be signed in 9-9:30 am at their usual classrooms, and signed in/out 10:30-11 am at their usual classrooms. An alternative program for PreK-K children will be provided during CPR Zone 2, for those who typically stay through both services and already saw the first Puppet Pal performance.

1st-5th graders will have their 9-9:30 am and 10:30-11 am times of worship in room B33 instead of room B01; please sign in/out your children at room B33 during those times.

	Dear Parent or Guardian, We are excited about our new classes for your children this fall here at Faith. Many teachers are returning and a few new teachers have stepped forward to serve God and our children. September 14th marks the beginning of our Wednesday evening program and September 18th marks the beginning of our new Sunday classes. You are receiving this e-mail because it is our desire to make the transition to new classes as smooth as possible. In the attached document you will find class rosters with a room # at the top of each roster. Please note there have been room changes (from previous years). We trust that you will easily be able to find your child(ren)’s name(s) which will allow you to prepare them for the class or classes they will be attending. Please carefully read our arrival and dismissal guidelines below. Remember that preschool and kindergarten children may remain in their classrooms from one service to the next. All children, ages Birth through Fifth Grade, must be signed in and out and picked up by a parent or guardian. Please note that this now applies to our Wednesday evening program. Children up through Preschool will be issued nametags and security cards to be exchanged with parents. Sunday, CPR Zone 1, 9 am Children up through Kindergarten may be dropped off in their classrooms beginning at 8:50 am. Children in Grades 1–5 meet in the Fireplace Room for worship from 9-9:30 am. Their teachers will then accompany the children to their classrooms. Please note that CPR Zone 1 ends at 10:30 am with the children in their individual classrooms. Children not picked up at 10:30 am at their classrooms will go to the Fireplace Room. Sunday, CPR Zone 2, 11 am Children up through Kindergarten may be dropped off in their classrooms (or stay put if here for both services). Children in Grades 1-5 meet in the Fireplace Room for worship from 10:30-11 am. Their teachers will then accompany the children to their classrooms. Lastly, if you have not completed a 2011-12 Family Registration Form for us, please do so as soon as possible. Extra copies of the forms are available at the Welcome Center in the foyer or outside the Resource Room (B46).
