CHILDREN AND FAMILY MINISTRIES ADMIN. ASST.
POSITION SUMMARY
Provide administrative support to Children & Family Ministries and Building Blocks of Faith Preschool. Duties include general clerical, database entries/ maintenance and bookkeeping.

Professional
The preferred assistant will have experience working with children and be gifted at relating to children.
The AA must be knowledgeable in the use of Microsoft Office programs and any other software important for carrying out his/her responsibilities.
Shall support and agree with the Statement of Faith Church.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintain database for all Sunday morning and Wednesday night classes, and Building Blocks of Faith Preschool.
Create and modify documents using Word, Excel and Publisher
Oversee each aspect of all mailings (electronic and snail).
Keep track of financial information for Children & Family Ministries. Oversee the screening process of church employees and volunteers. Handle VBS Registration in July and August.
Attend quarterly Preschool Board meetings. Record and type up minutes of the meeting.
Other duties as assigned.
WORK SCHEDULE
Part-time, 15 hours per week, exact schedule to be determined.
RELATIONSHIPS
The Children and Family Ministry Assistant will report directly to the Director of Children and Family Ministries.
